NOTE: Received an email from former Russet Lane resident Jim Preston, brother of Bebe and Lizy. Jim lives in California and has three teenagers. He says sister Bebe also lives in California, works for a law firm and has three grown up sons. Lizy lives in Syracuse.

Maybe they were going for a record

Mary Beth Major Chard (seated, second from the left) celebrates a birthday with friends and a couple of relatives in 1950 or '51 in the backyard at 104 Russet Lane, apparently playing a game called Six on a Hammock.

Seated with her (L-R) are Lena Rose Miori (Orlando), Roberta (Bobbi) and Dorothy Rydelek, Christine Bennett and a girl whose name escapes me.

Waiting their turns in back are Kay-kay Kinsella, Barbara (Bebe) and Elizabeth (Lizy) Preston, cousin Sandra Smolinski (Grecco) holding her sister Linda, and Elaine Tarolli (Moore).
